Beatrice Martinez
El Mirage Center Director
Ms. Martinez brings over twelve years of expertise in early education and child development, specializing in application and resource assistance along with behavioral intervention to create innovative, personalized strategies for families. With a deep commitment to the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, she strives to provide every child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive. Her passion for early learning stems from the opportunity to model essential skills, foster empathy, and nurture a sense of love and community in children.
Previously, Beatrice led the COOP program at a local high school for five years, equipping students with foundational skills and hands-on experience in early learning—skills she now imparts to her staff to ensure a positive daily impact on children. Growing up in the El Mirage community she now serves, Beatrice finds fulfillment in giving back through the YMCA’s programs, which have enriched not only the community but also her family, including her two young daughters, who now benefit from opportunities she once dreamed of.
